On March 10th, 2020 VMware announced vSphere 7, and like everyone I too excited to finally be able to describe why it is truly technology for the hybrid cloud. I am planning to write a series of blogs taking you all through the 7 Reasons to Upgrade to vSphere 7.
We all know this is a huge release, though, and i would like to cover the details in key areas of the release. There are many new features, and i will continue writing them in the additional upcoming blogs. The main 7 featured which i wanted to touch base is
- vSphere Lifecycle Manager (vLCM)
- vSphere 7 Identity federation
- vSphere Trust Authority
- Assignable Hardware
- Improved Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS)
- Improved vMotion
- vSphere 7 with Kubernetes
Also, i will be writing two bonus topics which give you a fair idea about
- What’s Removed From VMware vSphere 7
- Preparing for vSphere 7 Upgrade – vSphere Assessment Tool
Stay tuned to the Blog for more information.
